Most readers of Genesis 27 are of the opinion that Rebekkah and Jacob deceived Isaac into giving the blessing of the firstborn son to his second born. But is that the only interpretation? We will re-examine the narrative through biblical and midrashic texts to get a different perspective of who was the deceiver and who the victim. The session will be interactive with plenty opportunity for discussion.
