Chaya’s work at the SAJBD sees her developing relationships across the political spectrum within Parliament. Through regularly attending diverse portfolio committee meetings, she has been able to  identify opportunities for engagement and facilitate Jewish communal input into a number of pivotal pieces of legislation. Chaya will share her perspectives and experiences of what it has been like to work at the hub of the national debate during a tumultuous time in the country’s recent political history.
